What Is TPI?

TPI stands for Titleist Performance Institute. It’s a golf-focused way to look at how your body moves, how that affects your swing, and what you can do to swing more efficiently.

This isn’t about forcing a one-size-fits-all motion. It’s about finding the swing that works best for your body.

Who TPI Training Is For

Golfers who feel stuck

If your swing feels inconsistent, tight, or hard to repeat, the assessment can show whether movement limitations may be playing a role.

Golfers dealing with discomfort

If golf causes discomfort, Dr. Matt can assess how your movement relates to what you feel during the swing.

Players who want more efficient movement

Sometimes the goal isn’t to swing harder—it’s to move better and make the swing feel easier.

What Happens in an Assessment

  • We assess your mobility, stability, strength, and overall movement quality.
  • We talk through your golf goals, history, and what you feel in your swing.
  • We use video swing analysis to connect how your body moves with what happens in your swing.
  • You leave with personalized exercises and swing drills matched to your body and skill level.

Ready to Find the Swing That Fits You?

Start with a golf-specific movement and swing assessment, then get a plan built around your body, goals, and game.

Your Assessment Becomes a Plan

Matt uses the Functional Golf System to turn your assessment results into personalized mobility, stability, strength, and movement-sequencing work.

The goal is simple: help you move better, train smarter, and build a swing that fits your body. Each program is adjusted to your fitness level, golf experience, and goals.
